Because Of You
Because of you, I was once a fragile soul, easily shaken by the slightest breeze of criticism or doubt. Your presence in my life was like a storm that I never saw coming, tearing through my soul and leaving me shattered in its wake.
Because of you, I learned the bitter taste of rejection, as your words sliced through my fragile heart like a sharp blade. Each criticism, each harsh word, was like a dagger aimed at my self-esteem, leaving scars that ran deep within my soul.
Because of you, I questioned my worth, believing the lies you whispered in my ear about not being good enough. Your constant remarks of my supposed flaws echoed in my mind, drowning out any semblance of self-confidence that I once held dear.
Because of you, I felt the sting of ridicule, as you mocked my likes and passions without a second thought. You belittled the things that brought me joy, dismissing them as insignificant, and in doing so, you diminished a part of who I was.
Because of you, I felt invisible, as you never truly listened to me or remembered what I said. My words fell on deaf ears, lost in the void of your indifference, leaving me feeling unheard and unimportant.
