Don’t Lose Who You Are

Don’t lose who you are, even when the world tries to pull you apart.
When they ask you to fit into their mold, remind yourself — your uniqueness is art.
They might not see the light that shines inside you,
But that doesn’t mean it’s not there — it’s bright and true.

I know it’s hard when the noise gets too loud,
When doubts and fears wrap you in their shroud.
But remember the dreams you once held so close,
The pieces of you that matter the most.

Don’t trade your spark for anyone’s approval,
Your worth doesn’t need their removal.
The moments you feel you’re not enough,
Are the moments to lean into your own love.

Hold on to your laugh, the way it fills a room,
To your quirks, your scars, your sense of bloom.
They’re not flaws — they’re the essence of you,
A map of a journey only you’ve been through.

So when the world tries to make you smaller,
Stand taller, grow louder, dream broader.
Don’t lose who you are to fit someone’s view,
Because the only one who needs to love you — is you.
