I used to be sure of who I was, confident in my own skin, but now I feel lost, adrift in the wake of loving you.

I used to have dreams and aspirations that fueled my every step, but now they seem distant, overshadowed by the enormity of my affection for you.

I used to prioritise my own needs, understanding the importance of self-care and self-love, but now I find myself neglecting them, consumed by the desire to fulfill yours.

I used to enjoy the quiet moments of solitude, finding peace in the depths of my own thoughts, but now silence echoes with your absence, leaving me restless and yearning.

I used to stand tall, unyielding in the face of adversity, but now I falter, weakened by the weight of my emotions for you.

I used to believe in the power of love to lift us higher, to bring out the best in each other, but now I see how it can also unravel us, unravel me.

I used to see the world through my own eyes, with my own perspective and understanding, but now everything is filtered through the lens of our relationship.

I used to make decisions with clarity and conviction, but now I second-guess myself, afraid of the consequences they might have on us.
