I miss those days when laughter filled the air,

When worries were light and life was fair.

The sun seemed to shine a little brighter then,

Oh, how I miss those carefree days back when.

I miss those days when dreams knew no bounds,

When the world was a playground, and joy knew its rounds.

Each moment was a treasure, each memory a gem,

I long for those days, now just a distant hem.

I miss those days when love felt so pure,

When hearts beat as one, of that I’m sure.

But time has a way of changing the scene,

Leaving behind a longing, a silent scream.

I miss those days when skies were so blue,

When clouds were just clouds, and dreams came true.

The world held endless possibilities back then,

Oh, how I miss those days, now lost in the glen.

I miss those days when friends were so near,

When laughter and chatter were all we could hear.

But life’s journey took us on separate ways,
