Oh, Italy With You

Oh, how I wish to return to those days,
To Italy’s charm, its golden haze.
With you, my love, by my side,
Through cobbled streets, where dreams collide.

In Rome, the Colosseum stood so grand,
Yet it was your touch, your steady hand,
That made me feel history in my veins,
A love eternal, where time remains.

In Florence, the sunsets kissed the skies,
As we marveled at art with awe-filled eyes.
Gelato dripped sweet on a summer’s eve,
A flavour of memories we both believed.

Venice whispered through canals of blue,
A gondola rocked, just me and you.
The city murmured its tales of old,
While the stars above turned silver to gold.

Tuscany’s hills stretched soft and wide,
With vineyards rolling like waves at high tide.
We cycled through paths lined with cypress trees,
Stopping for wine and a Tuscan breeze.

Amalfi shimmered in lemon-scented air,
Where cliffs met seas in a love affair.
