Sometimes, life feels like a never-ending race, doesn’t it?

We chase after things we think we need — the perfect job, the perfect body, the perfect relationship.

We tell ourselves, If I just get this, I’ll be happy.

But how often does the finish line keep moving?

How often do you reach your goal, only to realise it doesn’t feel as fulfilling as you thought it would?

Stop.

Stop chasing the wrong things.

I know it’s hard.

The world has taught us to believe that success, beauty, and status are the markers of a good life.

But sometimes, in the pursuit of these things, we lose sight of what truly matters.

We chase approval from people who don’t see our worth.

We chase validation from a society that constantly changes its standards.

We chase things that look good on the surface, ignoring the emptiness they leave behind.

And in the process, we exhaust ourselves. We lose pieces of who we are.

It’s time to stop running.
