Summer Romance

A poem

Summer makes me feel the whisper of ancient cobblestones,

Beneath our feet, as we wander hand in hand.

It echoes with the stories of centuries past,

A symphony of history in a foreign land.

Summer makes me feel the taste of exotic spices,

Wafting from bustling markets under the sun.

It flavours our days with new adventures,

As we explore together, two hearts as one.

Summer makes me feel the warmth of Mediterranean breezes,

Caressing our skin with a gentle embrace.

It carries the scent of salt and citrus,

An essence of freedom in every place.

Summer makes me feel the sight of azure horizons,

Stretching beyond where the sea meets the sky.

It paints our dreams in shades of turquoise,

As we chase the sun, never asking why.

Summer makes me feel the sound of distant melodies,

Drifting through narrow alleys in the night.

It serenades our evenings with romance,

Underneath stars that guide our flight.

Summer makes me feel alive, alive with you,

In a world where every moment is a dream come true.

Together we roam, hearts intertwined,

In this summer’s dance of love, forever enshrined.
