Thank You For The Memories

A poem of love

All that’s left are memories,
Fragments of our world in time,
Your laughter still a melody,
A haunting, gentle rhyme.

We wandered through the streets of Rome,
Beneath a sky of endless blue,
In Paris, love became our home,
With every kiss, my heart, it knew.

Together, we danced in the rain,
Climbed mountains high, faced every fear,
In every joy and every pain,
You held me close, you kept me near.

Your touch, a whisper on my skin,
A tender warmth I now hold dear,
Your kisses, soft as summer wind,
In dreams, your voice I still can hear.

We cooked with passion, side by side,
Creating feasts of love and light,
Each meal a journey, far and wide,
Each dish a memory, pure delight.

The laughter shared on quiet nights,
The way you’d catch my falling tears,
Your hugs, a fortress, held me tight,
Protected me from all my fears.
