What’s Meant For You Will Always Find You
You know that feeling when you’re trying so hard to make something work — a relationship, a job, a friendship — but no matter what you do, it just keeps slipping away? Yeah, I know that feeling too.
I remember holding on to a relationship that was falling apart right in front of me.
I told myself that if I just tried harder — if I loved more, compromised more, became more — I could fix it.
I believed that if I gave enough of myself, everything would fall into place. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. And when it ended, I felt empty — not just because I’d lost the person, but because I felt like I’d failed.
But looking back now, I get it — what’s truly meant for you won’t require you to beg for it or force it to stay.
The right friendships? They won’t disappear just because life gets busy. The right job? It won’t leave you questioning if you’re good enough every single day. And the right person? They won’t make you feel like you’re constantly fighting to be chosen.
That doesn’t mean things won’t be hard sometimes. It doesn’t mean you won’t have to put in the effort. But when something is meant for you, it won’t feel like you’re losing yourself trying to keep it.
