You Deserve Better

Why are you putting up with this?
Don’t you see what you’re worth?
You deserve laughter, warmth, and love —
Not endless doubts and hurt.

Why do you keep forgiving
When they don’t even try?
You deserve someone who sees your soul,
Not someone who makes you cry.

You deserve mornings full of joy,
Not nights weighed down with pain.
Why are you holding onto them,
When they don’t feel the same?

Stop settling for crumbs of love,
When a feast is what you need.
You deserve someone who chooses you,
Not someone ruled by greed.

Look in the mirror and remind yourself,
You’re worthy, whole, and true.
You deserve a life of endless light —
And that starts with loving you.
