You’re My First And Last Love
I always believed in love.
Not the fleeting, crush-of-the-week kind, but the deep, soul-stirring love that lasts a lifetime.
The kind that wraps you in warmth on the coldest days and makes you believe in miracles.
Growing up, I read about it in novels, saw it in movies, and witnessed it in the tender interactions of my own parents.
But as the years went by, I began to wonder if that kind of love was meant for me.
In my late twenties, with most of my friends either married or in serious relationships, I found myself questioning whether true love would ever find its way to me.
I’d had a few dates here and there, but nothing that sparked that undeniable connection I’d always dreamed of.
My career was flourishing, my friendships were strong, and my life was full of wonderful experiences, but the absence of that special someone left a void I couldn’t ignore.
During the summer of 2022, a significant change occurred in my life.
It all started when I began chatting with a guy on Hinge.
Surprisingly, after just two days of conversation, he confidently suggested we meet up.
